The first in our 2019 series of continuing education webinars for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Presented by PipelineRx and Carilion Clinics.
This patient case presentation will focus on the epidemiology, pathophysiology, symptoms and risk factors for multiple sclerosis (MS). The management of acute exacerbations of MS will be discussed along with standard therapy for chronic MS. The complexity of infectious complications of MS will be explained in terms of screening, prophylaxis, and management. Evidence-based recommendations for MS management will be summarized and demonstrated using a patient case.
