This case-based presentation will focus on the epidemiology, pathophysiology, symptoms and treatment options for pediatric overdose with agents considered to be harmful after ingestion of small amounts. The supportive management of overdose will be discussed along with potential therapies for treating overdose with specific agents including sulfonylureas, anticholinergics, salicylates and local anesthetics.
