This presentation will define angioedema, identify the different types of angioedema as well as the severity and epidemiology of angioedema. The pathophysiology of each kind of angioedema will be described. Primary literature relating to angioedema will be outlined and discussed. Finally, various patient case scenarios will be used to reinforce the learning objectives.
