PipelineRx Showcases Value of Cloud-Based Pharmacy Platform Through Posters and Demonstrations at ASHP Midyear Meeting

Company Reinforces Why Hospitals Should ‘Get on the Grid’ to Transform Pharmacy Operations and Boost Clinical Initiatives

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—November 16, 2017—PipelineRx, the leading pharmacy platform and services company, will be showcasing its Discharge Management solution at the American
Society of Health-System Pharmacists 2017 Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition,
December 3-7 in Orlando. For nearly a decade, the Company has partnered with hundreds of
facilities to provide pharmacy infrastructure solutions and telepharmacy services to optimize
clinical pharmacy. With the migration to Amazon Web Services, PipelineRx has significantly
raised the security and scalability of its networked, cloud-based platform, PowerGridRxTM and
established a foundation for delivering additional solutions and services.

At this year’s Midyear meeting, PipelineRx will be featuring its most recent clinical offering to
facilitate adherence to the patient’s medication regimen as they transition from the hospital to the
home or extended care environment. Through a collaboration with Swisslog Healthcare, which
made a strategic investment in PipelineRx earlier this year, the Company has developed a new
software module that makes it easier for pharmacists to focus on the highest risk patients. The
Discharge Management module includes post-discharge video counseling to ensure coordination
of care for medication lists and doses, with the aim of preventing avoidable hospital
readmissions.

“Together, Swisslog Healthcare and PipelineRx are transforming clinical pharmacy by enabling
technology-connected pharmacists on a daily basis,” said Stephan Sonderegger, CEO of
Swisslog Healthcare.

Through its migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS), PipelineRx has eliminated the need to
purchase and maintain hardware, and can ensure fast implementation on an elastically scalable
HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. It is encouraging hospitals to join in through its ‘Get on the
Grid’ campaign. When tapped into the PowerGridRx network, hospitals can centralize and

optimize their pharmacy resources, easily add the solutions that they need, and access on-
demand telepharmacist coverage as needed, allowing for smarter allocation of pharmacy resources and significant labor savings and efficiencies.

The Company will also promote awareness of the value of telepharmacy through three poster
presentations, one from researchers within the Company and two with valued customers.

Thompson, PharmD, Director of Pharmacy, Crisp Regional Health Services; Neil Ratcliff, PharmD, Implementation Manager/Clinical Pharmacist; Hong Lam, PharmD, Director of Quality and Clinical Services

secure way for hospitals of all sizes to successfully deploy pharmacy technology and services,
optimizing efficiency and effectiveness. Our clients love the convenience and stability of our
scalable solutions as we look towards future advancements in pharmacy technology.”
